Distinguished Teaching Professor James Ebert, chair of the Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences, said the size of the delegation, though unusual, reflects the high level of quality among SUNY Oneonta students' scholarly work. "This is an unbelievably powerful experience for our students and provides a significant jumpstart to their careers as professional geoscientists. We are extremely proud of them."
