Students Elected to Student Association Positions for 2024-2025 Year

Thirty-six students were elected to serve in Student Association positions for the 2024-2025 academic year at SUNY Oneonta. Student Association serves as the liaison between administration, faculty and students. Elected students sit on external committees where they voice student input on decisions that affect the campus community. Senate meetings are Tuesday nights at 6:30 in the Hunt Union Waterfront. The Student Association of SUNY Oneonta is dedicated to fostering and maintaining meaningful relationships between students, faculty and administration to be effective in advocating for and allocating resources towards bettering the well-being of the student body. The Student Association strives to promote an inclusive, academic and social experience that encourages student growth and participation by advancing advocacy, transparency and communication between the branches of the Student Association, the broader Oneonta community and the collective student body.

Ten Students Elected to Student Association's Activities Council

Ten students were elected to SUNY Oneonta's Student Association Activities Council. The Activities Council is funded by the college's Student Association with a share of the student activity fee and by the Student Life fee. The Council works to provide large-scale programming to SUNY Oneonta students while supporting the college's mission to "nurture a community where students grow intellectually, thrive socially, and live purposefully."

Students Elected to Student Association Positions for 2016-2017

A total of 27 students were elected this spring to Student Association positions for the 2016-2017 academic year at SUNY Oneonta. Students are elected to Student Association positions by their peers in the student body. Elections for executive board positions were held April 7-8, and senators and judicial officers were elected April 14-15.

26 Students Elected to Student Association Positions

A total of 26 students were elected earlier this month to Student Association positions for the 2015-2016 academic year. Students are elected to Student Association positions by their peers in the student body. Elections for executive board positions were held April 9-10, and senators and associate judicial officers were elected April 16-17.
