50 SUNY Oneonta student athletes earned Academic Honors from the State University of New York Athletic Conference for their performance in the classroom during the spring semester. These student athletes were named to both the All-Academic Team and Commissioner's List.

74 SUNY Oneonta student athletes were named to the State University of New York Athletic Conference All-Academic Team for the spring 2014 semester. To be eligible, a student must be a varsity athlete who has completed the entire season and earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.3 for the semester in which they competed. The following SUNY Oneonta students were named to the All-Academic Team for the spring 2014 semester:

23 student athletes competed for the SUNY Oneonta baseball team during the 2014 season.

35 student athletes competed for the SUNY Oneonta men's lacrosse team during the 2014 season.

20 student athletes competed for the SUNY Oneonta women's lacrosse team during the 2014 spring season.

11 student athletes competed for the SUNY Oneonta men's tennis team during the 2013-14 year.

13 student athletes competed for the SUNY Oneonta women's tennis team during the 2013-14 year.

Three student athletes were selected to the SUNYAC All-Conference Team in the sport of lacrosse.

Two student athletes were selected to the SUNYAC All-Conference Team in the sport of track & field.

Three student athletes were selected to the IWLCA All-Region and All-SUNYAC Teams in the sport of lacrosse.

Three student athletes were selected to the SUNYAC All-Conference Team in the sport of baseball.

Seven student athletes were selected to the SUNYAC All-Conference Team in the sport of track & field.

Five student athletes were selected to the SUNYAC All-Conference Team in the sport of softball.

SUNY Oneonta senior Jermaine Miller of Elmira competed for the last time as a Red Dragon on March 19 and 21, returning to the NCAA Division III swimming and diving championships for a third straight year. This year's championships were hosted by Franklin College on the campus of IUPUI in Indianapolis, IN. Miller, who set school records in both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events earlier in the season, was one of only 25 men who qualified for the championships.
