Witman Hernandez competes for SUNY Oneonta men's soccer team

Witman Hernandez , a Sophomore from Huntington , NY played for the SUNY Oneonta men's soccer team this fall.

The Red Dragons finished the season with an overall record of 15-2-3 while going 7-1-1 in the SUNYAC. The team won the SUNYAC Championship and earned the automatic qualifying berth to the NCAA tournament. In the NCAA tournament Oneonta hosted the first two rounds and advanced to its fourth straight round of 32.

Witman played in 18 games and started in 17 this season for the Red Dragons. He scored 11 goals for a total of 22 points. Witman was the MVP of the SUNYAC tournament while being selected as a Second Team All-Conference performer.

SUNY Oneonta supports 21 varsity teams and is a member of the SUNYAC Conference while competing at the NCAA Division III level. The state-of-art athletics facilities include a field house and two field turf fields.
