Valerie Joern competes on SUNY Oneonta women's tennis team

Valerie Joern of Poughkeepsie, NY competed on the 2016-17 women's tennis team.

The team finished with an overall dual-match record of 13-7 this year while finishing third at the SUNYAC championships in the fall.

Valerie played in one singles match this year and won. She also played a pair of matches in doubles and dropped both.

SUNY Oneonta supports 21 varsity teams and is a member of the SUNYAC Conference while competing at the NCAA Division III level. The state-of-art athletics facilities include a field house and two field turf fields.
