Sierra Palmatier competes on the SUNY Oneonta field hockey team

Sierra Palmatier, from Afton, NY was a member of the 2017 SUNY Oneonta field hockey team.

The Red Dragons finished the season 13-6 overall and 5-1 in the SUNYAC. The team qualified for the SUNYAC tournament and played in the semifinals.

Sierra started in all 19 games this season for the Red Dragons. She scored three goals and added seven assists for 13 points. She was named to the SUNYAC All-Tournament Team and played in the NFHCA Senior All-Star game.

Located in the hills of Central New York, SUNY Oneonta is a mid-size, public, liberal arts and sciences college with a pre-professional focus. The college enrolls approximately 6,000 students in a wide variety of bachelor's degree programs and a number of graduate certificates and degrees.

SUNY Oneonta competes at the NCAA Division III level and is a member of the SUNYAC Conference. The college boasts state-of-the-art athletics venues including two field turf fields.
