Shane Digan Presents Project at Student Research and Creative Activity Day

2017 May 17

Shane Digan, a sophomore from Tivoli, NY, presented a project at SUNY Oneonta's annual Student Research and Creative Activity Day on April 12.

Digan developed an original project titled "The End of Life Dam Problem: Local and Global" under the guidance of Gina Keel of the Department of Political Science and Keith Brustad of the Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences.

Created to recognize and promote undergraduate scholarship and creative activity, Student Research & Creative Activity Day has become the premier on-campus event for scholarly student exhibition. A total of 139 students, supported by faculty sponsors from a variety of academic disciplines, displayed poster presentations in the college's Hunt College Union during the daylong showcase.
