Samantha Ayers Presents Project at Student Research and Creative Activity Day
2017 May 17
Samantha Ayers, a senior from Johnson, NY, presented a project at SUNY Oneonta's annual Student Research and Creative Activity Day on April 12.
Ayers developed an original project titled "Factors Controlling the Emplacement of the 80-km-long Tieton Andesite Lava Flow Field, South-Central Washington" under the guidance of Keith Brunstad of the Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences.
Created to recognize and promote undergraduate scholarship and creative activity, Student Research & Creative Activity Day has become the premier on-campus event for scholarly student exhibition. A total of 139 students, supported by faculty sponsors from a variety of academic disciplines, displayed poster presentations in the college's Hunt College Union during the daylong showcase.
