Rachael Shine competes for the SUNY Oneonta women's track and field team

Rachael Shine, a Psychology major from Clifton Park, NY was a member of the 2015-16 SUNY Oneonta women's track and field team.

The Red Dragons won both the SUNYAC Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field Championships for the first time in program history.

Rachael was a member of both the indoor and outdoor teams this year and competed in mid-distance and distance events. Indoor season accomplishments: SUNYAC Track Athlete of the Week (Feb. 1), SUNYAC Champion 800m, Mile, 1600m Relay, SUNYAC First Team All-Conference, Most Outstanding Track Athlete of the SUNYAC championships, USTFCCA All-Region (800m, DMR, 3K, Mile), NCAA Qualifier 800m, DMR. Outdoor season accomplishments: SUNYAC Champion 800m and 1500m, SUNYAC First Team All-Conference, SUNYAC Medalist 800m, 1500m and 4x400m relay, USTFCCCA All-Region 800m and 1500m, NCAA Qualifier 800m and 1500m. NCAA Division III All-American in both the 800m and 1500m after 8th and 5th place finishes respectively.
