Rachael Shine competes for the SUNY Oneonta women's cross country team

Rachael Shine a Psycology major from Clifton Park, NY was a member of the 2015 SUNY Oneonta women's cross country team.

The team competed in nine meets this fall and finished in second place at the SUNYAC Championships and had its best finish of second place at the NCAA Atlantic Region Championships. The team also qualified for its third straight NCAA championship where they finished in sixth place.

Rachael was one of the seven Oneonta runners to compete at the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships this fall recording her personal best 6K time of 22:08.0. Shine was All Conference (9th) and finised 19th at the NCAA Atlantic Region championships to earn All- Region Honors. During the regular season Rachael recorded a personal best 4.5K distance time of 16:45.3 at the 12th Annual Oneonta Airfield Invitational and a season best 5K time of 20:22.0 at the SUNY Poly Short Course Invitational.
