Peter Booth Presents Project at Student Research and Creative Activity Day

2016 May 5

Peter Booth, a junior from Hamden, NY, presented a project at SUNY Oneonta's annual Student Research and Creative Activity Day on April 20.

Booth developed an original project titled "Real Time Kinematic (RTK) Network Integration to Remove Need for Ground Control Points in UAV Survey" under the guidance of Wendy Lascell of the Geography and Environmental Sustainability Department. It was one of 134 poster presentations displayed at the college's Hunt Union during the daylong showcase.

Created to recognize and promote undergraduate scholarship and creative activity, Student Research & Creative Activity Day has become the premier on-campus event for scholarly student exhibition. A total of 180 students, supported by 66 faculty sponsors, participated in this year's event, which featured presentations on a wide variety of topics across academic disciplines.
