Peter Arruda is among 15 new members inducted into the SUNY Oneonta Alpha-Kappa-Iota chapter of Phi Alpha Theta, the national history honor society, on April 7.

Phi Alpha Theta is an American honor society for undergraduate students, graduate students, and professors of history, and is the second oldest such society in the United States. The society has over 350,000 members, with about 9,500 new members joining each year through 860 local chapters.
