Nicole Augunas Presents Project at Student Research and Creative Activity Day

2017 May 17

Nicole Augunas, a graduate student from Liverpool, NY, presented a project at SUNY Oneonta's annual Student Research and Creative Activity Day on April 12.

Augunas developed an original project titled "High School to College Transition for Students with Autism" under the guidance of Dawn Hamlin and Frank Thornton of the Department of Special Education.

Created to recognize and promote undergraduate scholarship and creative activity, Student Research & Creative Activity Day has become the premier on-campus event for scholarly student exhibition. A total of 139 students, supported by faculty sponsors from a variety of academic disciplines, displayed poster presentations in the college's Hunt College Union during the daylong showcase.
