Nicholas Berglin Receives Scholarship to SUNY Oneonta

Nicholas Berglin of Hampton Bays, NY, is the recipient of the Presidential Scholarship at SUNY Oneonta. The college's award of $6470 annually will help Berglin to pursue a bachelor's degree beginning in the fall 2015 semester. Berglin, who plans to major in Dietetics, is a graduate of Hampton Bays Secondary School.

Since 2000, the college and its related College at Oneonta Foundation have more than tripled the number of scholarships available to SUNY Oneonta students, and more than $4 million is awarded each year. Increasing the impact scholarships have in the lives of students was a priority of Possibilities Full of Promise, the 125th Anniversary Campaign for SUNY Oneonta, which concluded June 30, 2015, raising approximately $1 million more than its goal and helping to push the college's endowment over $50 million.
