Natalie Longo earns SUNYAC Elite 20 honor

Natalie Longo of Endicott, NY has earned SUNYAC Elite 20 honors from this past fall season.

Longo played in all 18 games for the field hockey team starting in five of them. Longo finished the season with one goal. The Red Dragons finished the season 5-13 overall and 3-3 in the SUNYAC. As the No. 4 seed, Oneonta knocked off top-seeded Cortland in the semifinals of the conference tournament and played in the championship game where they lost to Geneseo in overtime 3-2.

The SUNYAC Elite 20 award is modeled after the NCAA ELITE 90 program, which recognizes the true essence of the student athlete by honoring the individual who has reached the pinnacle of competition at the conference championship level in his or her sport while also achieving the highest academic standard among his or her peers.
