Myles Moore Presents Project at Student Research and Creative Activity Day

2014 May 13

Myles Moore of Mahopac, NY, was one of 191 SUNY Oneonta students who presented original research and creative projects at the college's annual Student Research and Creative Activity Day on March 26.

Moore worked with Devin Castendyk of the Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences on a project titled "Geochemical Assessment of Stream Sediments along Susquehanna Estuary System." Moore was the primary presenter for the project. Moore was also the primary presenter for a second project titled "Groundwater flow and Geochemistry at Greenwoods Preserve, Central New York" and was a co-presenter for an additional project titled "2013 Student Facilitated Research at the Biological Field Station."

Created to recognize and promote undergraduate scholarship and creative activity, Student Research and Creative Activity Day has become the premier on-campus event for academic student exhibition. A total of 191 students, supported by 73 faculty sponsors, participated in this year's event, which featured presentations on a wide variety of topics across academic disciplines.
