Matthew Palmer competes on the SUNY Oneonta men's cross country team

Matthew Palmer a Biology major from Gansevoort, NY was a member of the 2017 SUNY Oneonta men's cross country team.

The team competed in eight meets this fall and finished in second place at the SUNYAC Championships and 11th at the NCAA Atlantic Region Championships.

Matt competed in seven meets this fall and posted a best 8K time of 25:53.4 at the NCAA Division III Region Cross Country Championships.

Located in the hills of Central New York, SUNY Oneonta is a mid-size, public, liberal arts and sciences college with a pre-professional focus. The college enrolls approximately 6,000 students in a wide variety of bachelor's degree programs and a number of graduate certificates and degrees.

SUNY Oneonta is a member of NCAA Division III and competes in the SUNYAC Conference. The college boasts state-of-the-art athletic venues including two field turf fields.
