Marina Seidel Presents Project at Student Research and Creative Activity Day

2017 May 17

Marina Seidel, a senior from Windsor, NY, presented a project at SUNY Oneonta's annual Student Research and Creative Activity Day on April 12.

Seidel developed an original project titled "Evaluation of Imines as Cation Sensors in Water Samples " under the guidance of Jacqueline Bennett of the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry.

Created to recognize and promote undergraduate scholarship and creative activity, Student Research & Creative Activity Day has become the premier on-campus event for scholarly student exhibition. A total of 139 students, supported by faculty sponsors from a variety of academic disciplines, displayed poster presentations in the college's Hunt College Union during the daylong showcase.
