Marielle Genovesi Inducted into SUNY Oneonta Chapter of Chi Alpha Sigma

Marielle Genovesi of Glen Head, NY, was inducted into the SUNY Oneonta chapter of Chi Alpha Sigma, the National College Athlete Honor Society, on April 10. Genovesi, who is majoring in Anthropology, is a member of the Women's Track team at SUNY Oneonta.

Genovesi was one of 16 scholar-athletes inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma during a luncheon held in celebration of National Student Athlete Day and NCAA Division III Week. To qualify for induction into Chi Alpha Sigma, a student must have achieved at least junior standing with a cumulative 3.4 grade point average while earning a varsity letter in an NCAA intercollegiate sport. Each student athlete must also be of good moral character and have the endorsement of both the head coach of his or her sport and the chapter president.
