Kristina Devenezia Receives Merit Scholarship to SUNY Oneonta

Kristina Devenezia of Remsen, NY, has been selected to receive the Deans Scholarship to attend SUNY Oneonta. The college's award of $3,000 annually will help Devenezia to pursue a bachelor's degree beginning in the fall 2016 semester.

Devenezia, a graduate of Remsen Central School, plans to major in Fashion & Textiles.

Since 2000, the college and its related College at Oneonta Foundation have more than tripled the number of scholarships available to SUNY Oneonta students, and more than $4 million is awarded each year. Increasing the impact scholarships have in the lives of students was a priority of Possibilities Full of Promise, the 125th Anniversary Campaign for SUNY Oneonta, which concluded June 30, 2015, raising approximately $1 million more than its goal and helping to push the college's endowment over $50 million.
