Kevin Flessa Presents Project at Student Research and Creative Activity Day

Kevin Flessa of Middletown, NY, was one of 191 SUNY Oneonta students who presented original research and creative projects at the college's annual Student Research and Creative Activity Day on March 26.

Flessa worked with Jacqueline Bennett of the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry on a project titled "Synthesis of Thiosemicarbazones Using Green Chemistry." Flessa was the co-presenter for the project.

Created to recognize and promote undergraduate scholarship and creative activity, Student Research and Creative Activity Day has become the premier on-campus event for academic student exhibition. A total of 191 students, supported by 73 faculty sponsors, participated in this year's event, which featured presentations on a wide variety of topics across academic disciplines.
