Katie O'Gorman competes on SUNY Oneonta softball team

Katie O'Gorman of Clifton Park, NY was a member of the 2017 SUNY Oneonta softball team.

The team finished with an overall record of 25-14 and 10-8 in the SUNYAC. The squad qualified for the conference tournament advancing to the championship game.

Katie was selected as a First Team All-SUNYAC and Third Team All-Region performer this spring. She started all 39 games for the Red Dragons and hit .396, which was second on the team. She led Oneonta in hits (59), runs (42) home runs (6) and total bases (89). She was second on the team in slugging (.597) and was third with 30 runs batted in.

SUNY Oneonta supports 21 varsity teams and is a member of the SUNYAC Conference while competing at the NCAA Division III level. The state-of-art athletics facilities include a field house and two field turf fields.
