Kaitlyn Castle Presents Project at Student Research and Creative Activity Day

Kaitlyn Castle of Latham , NY, was one of 191 SUNY Oneonta students who presented original research and creative projects at the college's annual Student Research and Creative Activity Day on March 26.

Castle worked with Laura Munteanu of the Department of Mathematics, Computer Science and Statistics on a project titled "A Coordinate Geometry Approach to Concurrency and the Nine Point Circle." Castle was the primary presenter for the project.

Created to recognize and promote undergraduate scholarship and creative activity, Student Research and Creative Activity Day has become the premier on-campus event for academic student exhibition. A total of 191 students, supported by 73 faculty sponsors, participated in this year's event, which featured presentations on a wide variety of topics across academic disciplines.
