Julianna Pearson of Red Hook, NY, Wins Award at Student Art Exhibition

Julianna Pearson of Red Hook, NY, was one of 16 SUNY Oneonta students selected to receive awards during the college's Annual Student Juried Art Exhibition this spring.

More than 100 works by student artists were on display April 15 through May 18 during the exhibition, which featured sculpture, ceramics, digital prints, drawings, paintings and video art. The exhibition ran from April 15 through May 18.

The Dr. James Jerow Elting Memorial Awards were presented at a reception for the artists in the college's Martin-Mullen Art Gallery on April 18. Pearson, whose major is Computer Art, won an award for a composition in the charcoal medium. Pearson won a second award for a graphite work titled "Reflections."
