Jake Sweeney competes for SUNY Oneonta men's soccer team

Jake Sweeney, a Junior from East Moriches, NY played for the SUNY Oneonta men's soccer team this fall.

The Red Dragons finished the season with an overall record of 16-7-1 while going 6-2-1 in the SUNYAC. The team played in the SUNYAC Championship game and received an at-large berth to the NCAA tournament. In the NCAA tournament Oneonta advanced to its third straight sweet sixteen.

Jake played in 18 games and started in five this season for the Red Dragons. He scored one game winning goal for a total of two points.

SUNY Oneonta supports 21 varsity teams and is a member of the SUNYAC Conference while competing at the NCAA Division III level. The state-of-art athletics facilities include a field house and two field turf fields.
