Hannah D'Arcy Presents Paper at Political Science Conference

Hannah D'Arcy ofFlushing, NY, was selected to present a paper at SUNY Oneonta's eighth annual Undergraduate Political Science Conference on April 1.

D'Arcy, who is majoring in Mass Communications at SUNY Oneonta, presented a paper titled "Climate Change and Violent Conflict in the Middle East."

The conference featured a keynote address titled "Incarceration Rates in the U.S." by Dr. Peter Enns, associate professor in the Department of Government and executive director of the Roper Center for Public Opinion Research at Cornell University.

The conference was organized by SUNY Oneonta's Political Science Club, one of more than 100 student-run organizations at the college.
