Emily Snyder Presents Paper at Literature and Composition Conference

Emily Snyder of Clifton Park, NY, was selected to present a paper at SUNY Oneonta's seventh annual New Critics: Undergraduate Literature and Composition Conference on Saturday, April 9.

Snyder, who is majoring in English at SUNY Oneonta, presented a paper titled "A History of Loss: The Consequences of ‘Passing.’"

Students from five colleges and universities presented their scholarly work in 22 sessions at the conference, which featured a keynote address by Dr. Jinnny Huh, associate professor at the University of Vermont, titled, "Arresting Eyes: Race Detection in a Post-Racial America."
