Emily Opalinski competes on the SUNY Oneonta women's soccer team

Emily Opalinski a Sociology major from Buffalo, NY was a member of the 2017 SUNY Oneonta women's soccer team.

The team finished 8-10-1 overall and 5-4 in the SUNYAC conference. The Red Dragons qualified for the SUNYAC Tournament advancing to the semifinals.

Emily started in all 19 of the games the Red Dragons played this season. She scored two goals and had three assists for a total of seven points. She was named to the SUNYAC All-Tournament team and was selected as a SUNYAC Second Team All-Conference player.

Located in the hills of Central New York, SUNY Oneonta is a mid-size, public, liberal arts and sciences college with a pre-professional focus. The college enrolls approximately 6,000 students in a wide variety of bachelor's degree programs and a number of graduate certificates and degrees.

SUNY Oneonta is a member of NCAA Division III and competes in the SUNYAC Conference. The college boasts state-of-the-art athletic venues including two field turf fields.
