Emily LaLonde Presents Project at Student Research and Creative Activity Day

2016 May 5

Emily LaLonde, a senior from Ilion, NY, presented a project at SUNY Oneonta's annual Student Research and Creative Activity Day on April 20.

LaLonde developed an original project titled "Understanding The Barriers To Registered Dietitians Practicing In The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit" under the guidance of Theresa Loomis of the Human Ecology Department. It was one of 134 poster presentations displayed at the college's Hunt Union during the daylong showcase.

Created to recognize and promote undergraduate scholarship and creative activity, Student Research & Creative Activity Day has become the premier on-campus event for scholarly student exhibition. A total of 180 students, supported by 66 faculty sponsors, participated in this year's event, which featured presentations on a wide variety of topics across academic disciplines.
