Elizabeth Krein Presents Project at Student Research and Creative Activity Day

2014 May 13

Elizabeth Krein of Apalachin, NY, was one of 191 SUNY Oneonta students who presented original research and creative projects at the college's annual Student Research and Creative Activity Day on March 26.

Krein worked with Shih-Ming Hu of the Department of Human Ecology on a project titled "Using Pear Puree as a Fat Mimetic in Cookies." Krein was the co-presenter for the project.

Created to recognize and promote undergraduate scholarship and creative activity, Student Research and Creative Activity Day has become the premier on-campus event for academic student exhibition. A total of 191 students, supported by 73 faculty sponsors, participated in this year's event, which featured presentations on a wide variety of topics across academic disciplines.
