Elise Iwanyckyj Presents Project at Student Research and Creative Activity Day

Elise Iwanyckyj, a senior from Water Mill, NY, presented a project at SUNY Oneonta's annual Student Research and Creative Activity Day on April 20.

Iwanyckyj developed an original project titled "A Survey of the Parasites of Yellow Perch from Two Lakes in Central NY" under the guidance of Florian Reyda of the Biology Department. It was one of 134 poster presentations displayed at the college's Hunt Union during the daylong showcase.

Created to recognize and promote undergraduate scholarship and creative activity, Student Research & Creative Activity Day has become the premier on-campus event for scholarly student exhibition. A total of 180 students, supported by 66 faculty sponsors, participated in this year's event, which featured presentations on a wide variety of topics across academic disciplines.
