Dominick DeNofio Presents Project at Student Research and Creative Activity Day

Dominick DeNofio of Ballston Spa , NY, was one of 191 SUNY Oneonta students who presented original research and creative projects at the college's annual Student Research and Creative Activity Day on March 26.

DeNofio worked with Elizabeth Seale of the Department of Sociology on a project titled "Race and Ethnicity: The Demographics of Being Penalized in Welfare-to-Work Programs." DeNofio was the primary presenter for the project. DeNofio was also a co-presenter for a second project titled "Concealing Identities: Social Anxiety and Stereotype Endorsement Among the Lesbian, Gay, and Bisexual College Population."

Created to recognize and promote undergraduate scholarship and creative activity, Student Research and Creative Activity Day has become the premier on-campus event for academic student exhibition. A total of 191 students, supported by 73 faculty sponsors, participated in this year's event, which featured presentations on a wide variety of topics across academic disciplines.
