David Busby Presents Project at Student Research and Creative Activity Day

2016 May 5

David Busby, a junior from New Paltz, NY, presented a project at SUNY Oneonta's annual Student Research and Creative Activity Day on April 20.

Busby developed an original project titled "Continued Monitoring of the Moe Pond Ecosystem in Conjunction with Biomanipulation" under the guidance of Matthew Albright of the Biological Field Station. It was one of 134 poster presentations displayed at the college's Hunt Union during the daylong showcase.

Created to recognize and promote undergraduate scholarship and creative activity, Student Research & Creative Activity Day has become the premier on-campus event for scholarly student exhibition. A total of 180 students, supported by 66 faculty sponsors, participated in this year's event, which featured presentations on a wide variety of topics across academic disciplines.
