Danell Jones competes on the SUNY Oneonta field hockey team

Danell Jones, from Whitney Point, NY was a member of the 2017 SUNY Oneonta field hockey team.

The Red Dragons finished the season 13-6 overall and 5-1 in the SUNYAC. The team qualified for the SUNYAC tournament and played in the semifinals.

Danell started in all 18 games played this season for the Red Dragons. She logged 1206 minutes in goal and had a goal against average of 1.16. She finished with a record of 12-6 and had a save percentage of .811 while recording one shutout.

Located in the hills of Central New York, SUNY Oneonta is a mid-size, public, liberal arts and sciences college with a pre-professional focus. The college enrolls approximately 6,000 students in a wide variety of bachelor's degree programs and a number of graduate certificates and degrees.
