Dana Del Genio competes on SUNY Oneonta softball team

Dana Del Genio of New Hartford, NY was a member of the 2017 SUNY Oneonta softball team.

The team finished with an overall record of 25-14 and 10-8 in the SUNYAC. The squad qualified for the conference tournament advancing to the championship game.

Dana was selected to the SUNYAC All-Conference First Team after leading the Red Dragons with a .437 batting average. She also led the team in RBIs (33), doubles (12), slugging (.635) and stolen bases (12). She was second on the team in runs (28), hits (55), and total bases (80).

SUNY Oneonta supports 21 varsity teams and is a member of the SUNYAC Conference while competing at the NCAA Division III level. The state-of-art athletics facilities include a field house and two field turf fields.
