Crystal Wyllie Presents Project at Student Research and Creative Activity Day

2017 May 17

Crystal Wyllie, a senior from East Setauket, NY, presented a project at SUNY Oneonta's annual Student Research and Creative Activity Day on April 12.

Wyllie developed an original project titled "Mapping Invasive Japanese Knotweed Around Goodyear Lake" under the guidance of Tyra Olstad of the Department of Geography and Environmental Sustainability.

Created to recognize and promote undergraduate scholarship and creative activity, Student Research & Creative Activity Day has become the premier on-campus event for scholarly student exhibition. A total of 139 students, supported by faculty sponsors from a variety of academic disciplines, displayed poster presentations in the college's Hunt College Union during the daylong showcase.
