Christy Harasimowicz Presents Paper at Literature and Composition Conference

Christy Harasimowicz of Jefferson, NY, was selected to present a paper at SUNY Oneonta's fifth annual New Critics: Undergraduate Literature and Composition Conference on April 19. Harasimowicz, who is majoring in English at SUNY Oneonta, presented a paper titled "Masculinity in Native-American Literature."
A total of 21 students from colleges throughout New York state and as far away as Los Angeles were selected to present papers at the conference, which featured a keynote address by PEN/Jerard Award-winning creative nonfiction writer Colette Brooks. Students presented on seven different panels ranging from Native-American Literature to Narrative Frames.
