Anna Zajac Studying Abroad this Semester

2016 Jan 27

Anna Zajac of Slingerlands, NY, is one of 53 SUNY Oneonta students studying abroad this semester. Zajac, a sophomore majoring in Professional Accounting, is studying at Seinan Gakuin University in Japan.

SUNY Oneonta offers study abroad and exchange programs in Finland, Ghana, Germany, Greece, Israel, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, South Korea, Sweden and Taiwan through the Office of International Education, plus a variety of short-term, faculty-led programs throughout the year. Oneonta students also have access to more than 600 study abroad and exchange programs through the SUNY network.

SUNY Oneonta Photographer Michael Forster Rothbart was in Japan last semester and captured a few days in Zajac's life in this photo and video story: http://exposure.oneonta.edu/journey-to-japan

Scholarships and Global Connectedness were two of four campaign priorities for the SUNY Oneonta Foundation's Possibilities Full of Promise campaign, which raised $13.6 million for student scholarships and travel, and faculty development. It also pushed the SUNY Oneonta endowment past $50 million, the largest endowment among all SUNY comprehensive colleges.
