Angelica Aldana Presents Project at Student Research and Creative Activity Day

Angelica Aldana of Stanfordville , NY, was one of 191 SUNY Oneonta students who presented original research and creative projects at the college's annual Student Research and Creative Activity Day on March 26.

Aldana worked with Philip Sirianni of the School of Economics and Business on a project titled "The Effects of Immigration on Wages from 2000 to 2010." Aldana was the primary presenter for the project. Aldana was also the primary presenter for a second project titled "A Homemade Fund of Funds."

Created to recognize and promote undergraduate scholarship and creative activity, Student Research and Creative Activity Day has become the premier on-campus event for academic student exhibition. A total of 191 students, supported by 73 faculty sponsors, participated in this year's event, which featured presentations on a wide variety of topics across academic disciplines.
