Amanda Roney competes on the SUNY Oneonta women's soccer team

Amanda Roney a Communications major from Middleburgh, NY was a member of the 2017 SUNY Oneonta women's soccer team.

The team finished 8-10-1 overall and 5-4 in the SUNYAC conference. The Red Dragons qualified for the SUNYAC Tournament advancing to the semifinals.

Amanda started in all 19 games this season for Red Dragons. She scored two goals and had two assists to total six points. She was named to the Mayor's Cup All-Tournament team and was selected as a SUNYAC Third Team All-Conference and Third Team All-Region player.

Located in the hills of Central New York, SUNY Oneonta is a mid-size, public, liberal arts and sciences college with a pre-professional focus. The college enrolls approximately 6,000 students in a wide variety of bachelor's degree programs and a number of graduate certificates and degrees.

SUNY Oneonta is a member of NCAA Division III and competes in the SUNYAC Conference. The college boasts state-of-the-art athletic venues including two field turf fields.
