Alyssa Lupinski Presents Research at Annual Convention of American Psychological Science

Alyssa Lupinski of Ilion, NY, was one of four SUNY Oneonta students who presented research at the 27th Annual Convention of American Psychological Science on May 24 in New York City.

Lupinski gave a presentation titled "The “battered spouse syndrome”: Mock juror decisions in cases of same-sex and opposite-sex violent resistance" with SUNY Oneonta Assistant Professor of Psychology Michael Brown.

Two other faculty members from the college's Psychology Department also presented at the convention. Visiting Assistant Professor of Psychology Fanli Jia presented "The Role of English Literacy Skills in Acculturation in Immigrant Chinese Adolescents." Associate Professor of Psychology Charlene Christie presented "What makes an Environmentalist? Predictors of pro-environmental attitudes and identities."
