Allyson Wells competes on the SUNY Oneonta field hockey team

Allyson Wells, from Niskayuna, NY was a member of the 2017 SUNY Oneonta field hockey team.

The Red Dragons finished the season 13-6 overall and 5-1 in the SUNYAC. The team qualified for the SUNYAC tournament and played in the semifinals.

Allyson started in all 19 games played this season for the Red Dragons. She scored 11 goals and added seven asissts for 24 points, which led the team. Three of her goals were game winning goals. She was named to the SUNYAC All-Confrence First Team and the NFHCA All-Region Second Team.

Located in the hills of Central New York, SUNY Oneonta is a mid-size, public, liberal arts and sciences college with a pre-professional focus. The college enrolls approximately 6,000 students in a wide variety of bachelor's degree programs and a number of graduate certificates and degrees.

SUNY Oneonta competes at the NCAA Division III level and is a member of the SUNYAC Conference. The college boasts state-of-the-art athletics venues including two field turf fields.
